ParaPara Paradise was developed by Konami, in 2000. It was chosen as one of their games for Bemani, because all of Bemani's games were based on Music & Rhythm, ParaPara fit perfectly. With ParaPara being so big in Japan, what would be better than, ParaPara + Video Game = Madness! ParaPara blew up everywhere in Japan, machine locations located everywhere in Japan, it was impossible to ever not hear about ParaPara in Japan! As all of the Bemani games, there were Arcade Games, and Home Games. Each had different Mixes/Releases for each series of Bemani. ParaPara Paradise had in fact, 5 different arcade releases; and one PS2 Home Release.

Information: Out of all of the PPP1 releases, this would be the best! There are 48 songs, 20 more than the original. This was a total upgrade from everything previous, the only thing that was changed with game play was that they removed 'Enjoy' and they added 'Expert Another' which was a harder form of Expert.

Information: This version had the most number of songs, with some limited parapara's only learnable from this machine! This version also included CG dancers, that no one really liked, because they looked 'too fake' dancing, and would rather prefer the PPA. The machine case was also upgraded.
ParaPara Paradise DX

Information: This machine was in fact, the best out of them all! Sure, it was only available at sponsored Konami/Avex events, the machine it self was spectacular! It featured 3 machines into one, so 3 people could play at the same time, with a big screen flat panel! What's better than that?! Too bad they didn't produce any of these to be in arcades.

Information: Even though there was only one Home Version, it was awesome. It was like PPP 1st Mix + but with even more upgrades! You could actually watch the PPA while you danced, and there was an Endless mode, or just a Movie Mode. Also now you wouldn't have to waste your money to play.
Dream ParaPara for Dreamcast -- BOOTLEG
Year of Release: 2002
Number of Songs: 12
Number of Players: 1-2
Play Modes: Hi Speed, Random, Mirror, Hidden, Sudden
Play Modes: Para Para, Normal, Hard, Expert, Training, Free, Movie, Endless
Songlist / Difficulties: Here
Codes: N/A
Information: This is actually a Korean bootleg of ParaPara Paradise, it wasn't very well done either. But for being 'home-made' it was done pretty well. They just basically took the videos off of VCD's, and stuck arrows on them. Only having 12 songs, it isn't worth purchasing it for anymore than about $40-$50. The controller was even a bootleg, but looked better.. especially if you didn't like the original pink; it was now a light green tint.
